If you can’t ping a computer, why not hardping it?

Ever since Windows Firewall started being installed by default on Windows PC’s, it has become very difficult for Network Administrators to even know if a computer is up and running without physically going to the machine.

Hardping was created to give you back your sanity while still allowing your IT organization to keep the increased security of having Windows Firewall installed on all of your corporate machines.

Hardping works at the Ethernet or hardware level, and therefore, it can not be blocked by Windows Firewall.
